Because it means saving my money for investments/home improvements as opposed to buying another car I don’t need.....

I’m a sucker for an E-body. My parents had an ‘81 Buick Riviera with the 307 in white with a white vinyl top and blue interior. A dream would be that color combo, with the 3.8 turbo from ‘82-’85 for the overdrive transmission. Truthfully though, any clean 82-85 will do.
Lovely.

“But what they didn’t know - what nobody outside the factory knew - was that that model car was made with a metal plate under the driver’s seat. It’s the only thing that saved my life.”

After the blinds it’s probably kitchen counters and cupboards. I don’t get how a kitchen costs as much as a Fiesta ST.

I’m actually gonna hire a painter to come in and do my kitchen, living room, dining room, and basement. After that; the hardwood floors..... Yay...... It’s gotten to the point where working the overtime to pay for it has become less time consuming then doing it myself..... good and bad I suppose. Good that I can afford to do that; bad in that I don’t get the satisfaction of thinking “I did that” when I look at the finished result.

In my case, usually doing it myself doesnt have a professional outcome when it comes to manual labor.
